Are you looking for an Android 10 update for Motorola devices? Motorola doesn’t have any device in the ongoing Android 10 beta testing program, but the company Lenovo will still update a few numbers of its devices to the latest OS starting later this year. Here is the list of Motorola mobiles that are expected to get updates to Android 10 alongside the possible launch dates. Keep in mind that the list is not official and last, so expect modification somewhere along the way.

Motorola has not uncovered the official Android 10 roadmap, but one thing we can tell you about the expected launch date of the OS.

The first Moto device to get the outgoing Android Pie update did so in Nov 2018 and this was the Android One powered Moto One and Moto One Power. Just like, we expect the latest Android One device i.e the Moto One Vision when Android 10 starts to roll out, probably in Q4 2019.

In fact, we expect that all of Moto Android One devices soon upgraded to Android 10 before the last of 2019. Just like it happens with Pie before the last of 2018. But for the G7 family, the OS should arrive in some markets.

You can also expect the beta program to start for the Moto Z4 certainly in Nov-Dec 2019. It will be followed by the stable launch of Android 10 for the device, probably in 1-2 months.

Moto Razr

  • Android 10 launched on May 11th, 2020

It takes a long time, but Motorola has finally launched Android 10 for its $1500 clamshell device. The mobile developers also confirmed that it’d launch another Android iteration — Android 11 — for the device.

Moto Z4

  • March 31: Verizon version receive Android 10 update, too!
  • The update was launched on March 18th, 2020 for the Unlocked version

Motorola took its sweet time launching the update for the Z4. However, Verizon also rolled out the update a few weeks after the global version.

Moto Z3 & Z3 Play

  • Both are likely for the Android 10 update
  • The rollout should start in Q1 or Q2 2020

The Moto Z3 or Moto Z3 Play will both be upgraded to Android 10. It is in line using Motorola’s two-year software update schedule for its Motorola Z devices. Well, we are searching for a potential launch in early Q2 2020, if not late Q1 2020, for both devices.

Moto Z2 Force & Z2 Play

  • Unlikely for Android 10

Both the Moto Z2 Play or Moto Z2 Force is not likely for Android 10. The two came preinstalled using Android Nougat and their updates to Pie are the other and last major OS upgrades they’ll ever receive.

  • Android 10 is also available for the US Unlocked Moto One Action too, the model being QSB30.121-12
  • Android 10 update launched in India on Jan 16, 2020, as software variant QSB30.62-17

Moto One

  • Mar 27: Android 10 beta update launched
  • The stable variant may arrive in Q2 2020

  • Android 10 update launch on Dec 15, 2019

Moto One Vision

  • Android 10 update launched on Jan 7, 2020
  • The software variant of the update was QSA30.62-24

Moto G7

  • Eligible for Android 10 update
  • The OS may arrive in Q1 2020

The G series of Moto usually receive one major OS upgrade. It means that Moto G7 will be upgraded to Android 10. But it is difficult to explain. The Moto G6 receives its first Pie update in Brazil in Feb, but in the US it arrived in June.

Well, here is the same launch window for the two areas ’ Moto G7 version, where the update to Q may arrive early in Brazil in Feb 2020 but the United States may have to wait until Q2 2020.

Moto G7 Plus

  • Stable Android 10 launched on 23rd Jan 2020 in Brazil
  • G7 Plus users in Australia get Android 10 (10 Mar)

Motorola will soon upgrade the Moto G7 Plus to Android 10. However, the stable update reached Brazil on 23rd Jan 2020, and on 10 March it arrives in Australia. It carries the Dec 2019 security patch.

Moto G7 Play

  • Android 10 expectation is in Q1 2020

The Motorola G6 Play received an Android 9 Pie update in Feb in India or Brazil before the operating system arrived in the U.S. in May. It is the same with the update to Android 10, where it may first arrive in markets in Feb 2020.

Moto G7 Power

  • Likely for Android 10 update
  • The update should arrive in Q1 2020

The Moto G7 Power is likely for an update to Android 10. The update expected to arrive somewhere in Q1 2020.

Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus

  • Not likely for Android 10 update

None of the devices in the Motorola G6 series get an official update to Android 10. Motorola only offers one major OS upgrade for Motorola devices in the G series and both the Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6+.

No Android 10 update for these Motorola devices

Motorola doesn’t provide a list of devices that it will be upgrading to Android 10. Usually, just the Moto Z series devices are guaranteed two Android OS upgrades but those in the Moto G series receive a single Android OS upgrade.

If you have devices in Moto E series entry-level, no Android OS will be moved your way.
