  • Turn On the OEM in order to unlock on your phone:
  • For this, you have to head to the Settings » About phone » and click the Build number seven times. To turn on the Developer options.
  • Now you should head back to the Basic Settings page, drop to the bottom, and choose Developer options from there.
  • Under Developer options, now view Enable OEM to unlock checkbox/toggle and enable it.

Download Mode

  • Now you have to Boot your device into Download Mode:
    1. Here you must power off your device.
    2. Press and hold the “Home + Power + Volume down” buttons for a few seconds till you view a warning screen.
    3. Press Volume Up on the warning screen to accept it and boot into Download mode.
  • However, at times your device is in download mode, so then connect it to the computer with a USB cable. Then the Odin window on the computer should examine the device and also display an “Added!!” message.
  • Now you should tap on the AP tab on the Odin window. Here choose the firmware file that we got in step 2 above.
    └ Important Note: Here you have to keep it in mind, DON’T play with any other options on the Odin screen. You only need to connect your device. Now choose the firmware file as instructed above.
  • Similarly, you have to tap the Start button on Odin. And here you have to wait for it to complete the method. However, at the time it has finished successfully, then you will view a pass notification on the Odin screen.
  • Here your device will automatically reboot. When Odin is complete flashing. You are also able to then disconnect your device.
    It probably takes some time for the first boot after flashing the stock firmware.
