How to See Your Spotify Play History
Spotify is a really cool way to discover and listen to songs however, is it also possible to see your play history? Well, the answer is Yes. Spotify has also a Play History feature that will let you rediscover songs that you have recently played or listened to in the past as well. We listen to hundreds and thousands of songs on Spotify and most of the time, we forget the titles and albums we enjoyed before. With the Play History feature, you can head back and scan the list of songs you want to listen to again.
The steps are really easy and you can view your whole listening history along with a few clicks on your Spotify app or web player as well. There are two ways in order to navigate to your play history, on desktop or on your mobile or tablet as well.
See Your Spotify Play History for Desktop or Web Player
- On your Spotify main screen, head to the bottom right corner.
- You will there see the burger icon. Click on Play Queue.
- At the top, tap on History. It will then show you the last 50 songs played.

- Head to the Now Playing screen on your Spotify app. You can see that at the bottom of your screen as well.
- Now at the bottom right corner, click Play Queue.
See Recently Played Playlist on Spotify Play History
From your home screen, you need to swipe to your left. It will then show your Recently Played playlist actually. This will list down recent songs that you have played as well. It is a helpful feature that when you forget the songs you have played the day before and also want to add these tracks to a playlist.
That’s it! If you guys want to add a song or track, just right click on the track and click Add Queue. If you want to delete a track, also right-click on the track and tap on Remove from Queue.
Can you delete my Spotify history?
No Spotify does not give you an option to delete the history of your recently played songs. And if you guys are concerned about your privacy then do not worry much because only you can see your Spotify history and no one else can. And also it only saves the history of your only 50 most recently played songs actually.
However, if you are still paranoid then I would suggest you set a strong password to your Spotify account. So that no one can break-in as well.
