Way to Invert Screen Colors on iPhone & iPad: Tutorial

Well, Guys, you can invert the screen colors of iPhone or iPad in an easy way just via an Accessibility option. However, this can be very advantageous to many users for different reasons. If to review things on the display in dim surrounding lighting, just due to some color blindness. Further visual difficulties, or probably just a general preference. Basically, there are two methods to invert the screen colors, one is known as ‘smart invert’ simply that will invert everything on the screen except for media & images. And the other is the ‘classic invert’ setting simply that will invert everything on the display of iPhone or iPad.
Here we will show you the way to invert the display of iPhone & iPad. Also the way to turn the display inversion setting off whether it was turned on.
Invert Screen Colors on iPhone & iPad
- First of all you have to head to the Settings app.
- Then head to the “Accessibility” (or earlier iOS versions move to “General” and next to “Accessibility”)
- Move to “Display Accommodations”
- Here select the “Invert colors”
- Choose either screen inversion option simply by toggling the invert setting to the ON position:
- The “Smart Invert” – inverts screen colors for display except for images & media as well.
- “Classic Invert” – inverts all screen colors on display adding images & media too.
- Now come back from Settings when finished.
However, the screen of the iPhone or iPad will instantly invert & remain that way until the display inversion setting also has been turned.

Similarly, some users also have used the “Smart Invert” feature as a Dark Mode theme of kinds for iOS versions previously to iOS 13 & iPadOS 13. But that is no longer essential with adding the new dark mode themes.
Remember that inverting the screen will turn off the Night Shift on the iPhone or iPad.
Turn off the Screen Inversion on iPhone and iPad
- First of all, you have to head to the Settings app
- Now move to “General” & to “Accessibility”
- Head to the “Display Accommodations”
- Select the “Invert colors”
- Then toggle the switch next to either Invert setting to the OFF position
Similarly, the screen inversion will immediately disable & the screen will go back to the usual display color settings when turned off.
It is worth registering though which is inverting the screen this way actually inverts the screen colors. So guys it is not similar to turning on Dark Mode on iPhone or also by using the Dark Mode on iPad. Previously iOS versions some people did also use the Invert feature just as a way in order to achieve the same effect to the interface. But that is no longer essential with the Dark Mode being an official feature. Whether you guys use the Invert Screen whilst Dark Mode is turned on. You will then achieve the opposite effect & also the interface elements that will turn bright once again, sort of like the default Light mode interface.
Although the Screen Inverting probably be considered as an Accessibility option. But it also has practical uses for other purposes too, such as making the content too simple in order to view in the dark for some users. Or many other purposes as well.
