ZTE Nougat Update Or Device List – Review
Are you looking for ZTE Nougat update? ZTE stands for Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation. It is a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment. Also, it ranks 4th when it comes to mobile production. ZTE mainly focuses on the middle-range with the launch of its premier Axon series.
When operating system upgrades are the goal, ZTE has been a let-down so far. But things seem to be modifying for good with Axon 7 Max. As it introduces in December with Nougat pre-installed. But still, there are no official announcements from ZTE about upgrades on earlier devices. However, ZTE uses MiFavor Android skin. But it encounters bloatware problems till recently but looks to resolve things with the recent MiFavor 4.0.

Overview:
ZTE Axon Series
At first, the ZTE premium series receive Nougat updates. In fact, Axon 7 Max, is launch in December with Nougat OS. Maybe the device get updates on Nougat 7.1.1 by February 2017. The recent flagship Axon 7 should get a Nougat update in Q1 2017. However, the Axon 7 mini is not likely to receive or get Nougat as ZTE seems unlikely to invest further in the budget variant.
The older Axons series are unlikely to get updates, considering ZTE’s pattern of launching devices with the latest upgrades, besides updating the older ones.
Blade Series
There is a possibility that Blade V7 receive the Nougat update in Q2 2017. But its versions Blade V7 Lite/ V7 Max should stay in Marshmallow. The older Blade V+ can be ruled out from Nougat probability.
The Blade X9/X5/X3 are all older budget mobile, not likely to attract ZTE attraction.
On the other hand, Blade S7/S6/S6+ also seems not to get any attention from ZTE in OS upgrade.
The Blade versions G/G Lux/L3/L3 Plus/L5 Plus/Q Pro/Qlux 4G are all budget mobiles, which can’t view Nougat in them.
The Blade A2/A410/A452A460A512/A610/Apex 3/D6 versions are all seems not to receive Nougat updates.
ZTE Grand Series
In the Marshmallow family, the Grand series has one representation i.e Grand X Max 2. However, it seems that it can’t receive upgrades, so don’t consider Grand S3/X3/X2.
Nubia Series
The expectation is to receive the Nougat boost in Q2 2017. However, its versions, namely Nubia Z11 Max/Z11 mini/Z11 mini can stay in Marshmallow. Well said that the Nubia Z9/Z9 Max/Z9 mini/Nubia My Prague, all of them are middle-range or older phones can’t view Nougat in them.
Other 2016 launches Of Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment
The Zmax Pro seems to get Nougat in Q2 2017, but the incompatible hardware rules out the probability in Zmax 2/Warp 7/V5 Lux/Sonata 2.
ZTE Miscellaneous
The ZTE Obsidian/Imperial II/Maven/Boost Max+/Avid+ are all older mobiles that are not going to get the operating system to upgrade attention from ZTE ever again.
ZTE unlikely to upgrade OS in recent devices and it follows the trend of launching other devices with the latest variant of Android.
